This week in Science we learned about how water effects the world. We are starting a project about the affects of water. Each group has to do a video explaining their specific crisis. These include; walking for water, disease, pollution, climate change, and who owns the water. In some third world countries woman and children have to walk many miles to the nearest water source daily. During these walks they are open to crime. The water they get is polluted and causes a bunch of infants to die from disease. This disease is not only from pollution, it is also caused by viruses that live in the water. Pharmaceuticals also pollute the water. Climate change is another problem caused by people. The warming climate bleaches coral reefs killing them.

I am in the group working on the video about walking for water. We haven’t started working yet. I’m excited but I don’t know exactly what we are doing. So yeah that’s what we are doing.
